Climbing competitions mean different things to everyone, and we want to see #Rockfall2018 through YOUR lens!
Post an Instagram photo of your competition prep, training, or of comp day for a chance to win a The North Face tent (the Stormbreak 2 – valued at CAD$270).
To have a chance to win: – register for the #Rockfall2018 competition – post your photo of training, competition prep, or #Rockfall2018 on Instagram – be following @climbwallnuts, @thenorthface, and @theoutfittersnl – tag @climbwallnuts, @thenorthface, and @theoutfittersnl – use the #Rockfall2018 hashtag
The top 4 entries (as judged by our panel of judges) will go into a final round, where the most ‘liked’ photo will win the grand prize!

Terms and Conditions
EligibilityBy submitting an entry to the Photo Contest, entrants certify that their participation in this Photo Contest is not illegal or in violation of any law, regulation, treaty or administrative act, and that the laws of their governing jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry do not prohibit or restrict the receipt of any Prize under this Photo Contest.SponsorsSponsors of this contest are “The North Face” and “The Outfitters Adventure Gear and Apparel”.This Photo Contest is in no way sponsored by, endorsed by, administered by, or associated with, Instagram.Entry PeriodThe Photo Contest begins at 12:00am NST on February 23rd, 2018 and ends at 11:59pm NST on March 25th, 2018 (the “Entry Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible. Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Photo Contest.Voting PeriodThe Public vote for People’s Choice begins at 8:00pm NST on March 26th, 2018 and ends at 10:00pm NST on March 30th/31st, 2018 (exact date to be decided) (the “Voting Period”). Votes submitted after the Voting Period will not be eligible. Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Photo Contest.What to EnterWhat is Rockfall to you? Everyone sees competition through a different lens, and we want you to show us your view!
Contestants must be registered competitors for ‘Rockfall 2018‘.Entries must be posted to the contestant’s Instagram account.Entries must be of training/preparing for Rockfall, or a photo from the competition itself.Entries must tag @climbwallnuts, @theoutfittersnl, and @thenorthface.Contestants must be ‘Following’ @climbwallnuts, @theoutfittersnl, and @thenorthface.Contestants must use the “#Rockfall2018” hashtag on their entry
The following submissions are ineligible:
Photos that violate or infringe upon another person’s rights, including but not limited to copyright and photographs of persons without the necessary consent required by law in your jurisdiction. Wallnuts Inc. reserves the right to require entrants to submit evidence of the subject’s legal consent to be photographed for the submitted photograph, which may include a signed waiver from the subject. NOTE: Waiver requirements vary by jurisdiction, and the entrant is responsible for obtaining a legally enforceable waiver from any photographed subject.Photos that contain sexually explicit, nude, obscene, violent or other objectionable or inappropriate content.Images that involve the willful harassment of wildlife, or damage to the environment by the photographer.Images that involve putting any individual or animal in danger.Wallnuts Inc. shall determine entry eligibility in its sole and absolute discretion.
JudgingJudging will be based on relevance to the subject matter, technical excellence, artistic merit, overall impact, and originality.The top 4 judged photos will then be ranked based on public votes on those images on @climbwallnuts’ Instagram.Judging will be conducted by a panel of Wallnuts Inc. and The Outfitters employees (“The Panel”). The Panel will evaluate all entries and select the four (4) honorable mentions selected for public voting.
The four (4) honorable mentions will be notified of their status, and will appear on wallnutsclimbing.com by 8:00pm April 26, 2018.
All judging decisions are final. Please do not contact us about entry status or judging.Wallnuts Inc will contact the honorable mentions and winner via the Instagram account used for contest entry.

Wallnuts Inc will award the following prizes:

General Conditions
In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Photo Contest is impaired in any way, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Photo Contest to address the impairment and then resume the Photo Contest; or (b) award the prize(s) from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify and seek damages from any individual who tampers with the operation of the Photo Contest, violates these Official Rules, or acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. In the event of a dispute as to the owner of an online entry, the authorized account holder of the Instagram account used to enter will be deemed to be the owner. The Photo Contest is subject to federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
